Who are your main musical influences?
Everything influences me to a certain extent, even if it influences me not to do something. I’d say that the same goes for everyone but few truly realize and are aware of it.

What was the first CD you purchased/received?
I actually purchased two Beatles CD’s at the same time when I was ten years old – “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band “ and “Magical Mystery Tour”.

What is the last CD you bought?
Most recently I've bought a good chunk of the Flaming Lips' catalogue. I'm waiting for In A Priest Driven Ambulance in the mail and I still have some EPs of theirs to get. I also picked up Rusty by Rodan and Hell-o! by Gwar the other day, and the new Rolling Stones live record last night.

Who would be in your fantasy band to jam with?
That’s a hard question, but the first people that come to mind are John McLaughlin, Robert Fripp, Jaki Liebezeit, and Chris Squire, I could keep going, but these guys are who I’d be in the mood for right now.

List ten CDs you can’t live without.
Well, in no particular order…
The Mars Volta – De-Loused In The Comatorium
Joy Division - Closer
King Crimson – Red
The Ramones – The Ramones
Pink Floyd - Animals                                                                                              The Beatles – Abbey Road
Can - Tago Mago
Slint - Spiderland
Godspeed You! Black Emperor – F#A#∞
Frank Zappa/The Mothers Of Invention – We’re Only In It For The Money

What’s the best thing about being in the band? The worst thing?
Best thing - Complete control! :-)
Also, I love writing new songs and bringing them to life with the other guys.

Worst thing – When the guys keep playing their instruments between songs during rehearsal when I’m trying to tell them something.

What is your favourite quote?
“The present day composer refuses to die.” – Edgard Varèse

Is there anyone you want to thank or some thoughts you would like to share?
I’d like to thank my parents for their support as well as anyone who enjoys our music and comes out to our shows.
