Who are your musical influences? It's a tough question to answer because I draw influence from so many genres. However, I'd say my largest influences would be The Beatles and Rush. If asked on another day, I might say something completely different. Life in general is a major influence.
What was the first CD you bought? The first CD I bought was The Blue Album by Weezer, which is an amazing album, and it did introduce me to modern music.
Who would be in your fantasy band to jam with? My fantasy band to jam with with would have Oscar Peterson on the piano, Mitch Mitchell on the drums, Alex Lifeson on guitar, and Matthew Bellamy on vocals. Oh, the wild psych-blues-jazz-progadelic things we'd play...
List ten CDs you can’t live without. Rush - 2112 The Beatles - Abbey Road Weezer - Weezer Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold As Love Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium Supertramp - Crime Of The Century System Of A Down - Mezmerize Frank Zappa/The Mothers - Fillmore East, June 1971 Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
What’s the best thing about being in the band? The worst thing? The best thing about being in the band is the energy. All four of us get along amazingly and it transfers into the band room. The feeling is overwhelming. The worst thing? Trips from Scarborough to Thornhill... then back to Scarborough. What is your favourite quote? "There are more love songs than anything else. If songs could make you do something, we'd all love one another." - Frank Zappa Is there anyone you want to thank or some thoughts you would like to share? I would like to thank my family, specifically my Mom and Dad, for their continued support of me, and the Brodskys for their support of the band as a whole, as well as Jonathan, for introducing me to this wonderful music and allowing me to be a part of it.
